The 3 major categories of Elements (metals, nonmetals and metalloids)

Metals- elements that're shiny and are good at conducting heat and electric currents.

Nonmetals- elements that're not shiny and are poor at conducting heat and electric currents.

 

 

Metalloids- it has the properties of both metals and nonmetals. It can be shiny or dull. Some can conduct electric currents and heat while some can't.
